1105085235 2014-08-08 I am onsite to witness the cementing operations of the surface casing string. Circulation could not be gained by the drilling rig. The decision was made to spot a 64 barrel balance plug at the base of the casing. 1.25" tubing was ran to a depth of 296' and 220 barrels of cement were circulated in place. The tubing was pulled and the fluid level was found at 160' from surface. I instructed the company to wait eight hours and the run the tubing back in and gain circulation before cementing to surface.
1378984440 2014-08-18 I am onsite to witness the casing integrity test. Several attempts were made before a problem with the pressure recording chart drive could be fixed. The casing lost less than ten percent of total pressure.
