1059441715 2003-07-28 Received phone calls today regarding oil seeping to the surface about 10 north of the ditch and in front of the tank. Spoke with Bill Walker of the Erie Co. Emergency Management Service. He placed absorbent pads at location and decided this was not an severe/major emergency. Suspected a break in the transmission line or from field tile. Contacted Paul Archer by voice mail regarding the situation. Paul Archer responded by vice mail. Would contact the pumper and investigate. Spoke with land owner Earl Hunter, Stated the situation was being addressed, and thought it may be oil that was in a field drain tile. Excessive rain fell W/I Last 24 hours, close to 4 inches.
