| -1947181978 | 2012-01-24 | Complaint this day by landowner, Kim McDermott. She stated that this well is not producing, the well owner is not metering her gas and she is not receiving any free gas. This well is in production, is equipped with a pumping unit and the valves on the well are open. The wellhead is bubbling slightly and there is a small amount of oil around it. The landowner claims that oil has run down the hill into the swamp but I could not find any trace of oil or kill zone. The well owner will place sorbent pads around the wellhead. He will also tighten the wellhead when he has a rig on it. I told them to check the pads frequently and install new when necessary. I also requested that the well owner install an identification (ID) sign at the well. The tank battery has proper ID posted and the dike is in good condition. The well owner is to put a gas meter on the well tomorrow and will offer the landowner free gas to her and explain what she needs to do to get it. No violation issued at this time. Alerted Columbus to fact that Constitution, the previous owner of wells, has not turned in production for 2009 through 2011. | ||||
