-1955256831 | 2012-11-20 | I received a call from Kyle Tharp on November 20, 2012 regarding a water well concern from David McKinney at 4262 Mapleton Street, Canton Township. I inspected the H. Amos 1 well (34151216710000) on November 21, 2012. The operator for this well is BoCor Producing. 2011 production for this well includes 157 bbls of oil, 20 bbls of brine, and 903 MCF of gas. My inspection found the lease road was graveled to the wellhead and showed no signs of erosion. The wellhead includes an electric powered pumping unit and a domestic gas line attached to the 4.5 inch casing. The wellhead is surrounded by a chain link fence. The pumping unit was not running at the time of my inspection. The pressure gauges attached to the tubing recorded 25 psi and the 4.5 inch casing recorded 10 psi. Valves are open from the tubing to the separator and tank battery. There is minor oil staining surrounding the wellhead. The tank battery consists of one 210 bbl stock tank, one 50 bbl brine tank, and one mechanical separator. The tank battery is surrounded by chain link fence. A half inch restrictor plate is installed on the sales line. The 210 bbl stock tank has the proper operator sign attached. There is a chart installed with an installation date of November 20, 2012, showing 60 psi on the sales line with gas production. The dike is unable to contain an uncontrolled release. The brine pickup line does not have a bull plug installed. All spacing requirements have been met. According to Mark Young at BoCor Producing, a service rig was on site in September 2012 to install new rods. The bull plug has been installed and the dike will be repaired. |
