1172074691 | 2007-02-12 | I received a call at 19:30 on 2/11 from Don Fraelich with Dominion East Ohio reporting a natural gas leak on the west side of Powder Mill Road south of Summit Road in Brimfield Township. According to Fraelich, a company representative was enroute and would shut the well in until repairs could be completed. The local pumper is Mark Smith. Apparently frost heave broke off a needle valve on the 8-5/8" surface casing which resulted in the leak. By the next morning the valve was replaced and the well was shut in to pressure up. The required ID was posted with correct information and the well and tank battery were fenced. |
