-409792556 2014-01-21 A valve broke (froze) on 1/20/14 and 80 bbls of brine and a small amount of oil were lost. The dike around the tank and the sump caught most of the brine and all of the oil. No oil left the dikes. Approximately 10 bbls of brine escaped. The brine inside the dikes and sump have been removed and placed back in the tanks. The valve has been replaced. The residual oil has been covered with Oil Gator. The area where the brine escaped has been covered with lime. Further remediation will resume when the weather breaks. The annulus of the disposal well has had 120 psig put on it. An annulus valve that was found to be leaking has been replaced.

1367837683 2013-05-03 Tubing pressure 15 psig. Annulus 5 psig. A rubber hose in the filter system popped off and an estimated 40 bbls of brine escaped. Most of the brine was in the sump and inside the building. An estimated 10-15 barrels went out onto the driveway and down into a field. Pelletized lime was spread over the spill area. The spill area will be evaluated and the contaminated soil removed as necessary. The brine that escaped was mostly Berea water.
