-2073455856 2009-12-02 On site at adjacent property of Walter King to investigate water supply complaint. ODNR inspector Tom Benko brought camera to inspect interior of well. There were 2 representatives of oil operator on site and Mr. King. Water elevation was measured at 14 feet below groung elevation. Casing extended to depth of approximately 54 feet with pump set at similar depth. Well was supposedly drill to depth of 85 feet but there was obstruction at depth of 57 feet. Noted residual build up on inside of casing. Water in well was clear except for flaking debris from material on well casing. Mr King said that there was little need for filtering water prior to oil well being drilled. Now filters must be changed frequently. There is also now the smell of H2S in the water which did not exist before. Noted that water filter in basement was black with brown particulate in filter.
