1379406026 | 2013-09-17 | Witnessed 302 feet of new 7" surface casing set in 309 feet of 8 7/8" borehole with 70 sacks Class A cement with 60% excess. Circulation established and cement returns stayed at surface.
1381405384 | 2013-09-24 | Observed the Gamma Ray-Cement Bond Log logging run through the Berea sandstone at the bottom of the hole to surface . Appalachian Well Surveys ran the logs to 2102-feet below ground surface. Top of the Berea is at 2079-feet. They perfed the top four feet of the Berea. Cement bond on the casing was good to 1378-feet from the ground surface. Appalachian had some problems with their CBL tools functioning properly. I suggest logging companies record and store the data as they lower their tool into the hole just in the event all their tools malfunction. It may not be pretty but at least they have some information.
