-1328665725 2014-02-07 Stopped by well location to meet crew and check on progress. Rig in the process of moving in and rigging up at the time of the inspection. Plan forward will be to finish rigging up and then shut-down for the weekend and resume operations Monday.
-1500950856 2014-02-15 Visited location on 02/15/2014 for surface casing cement job. Drilled 14 3/4" hole to 629' and set 11 3/4", 32# surface casing to 600' with a collar on bottom and 3 centralizers. Cement job went well; got 8 bbls good cement returns to surface.
-180446652 2014-02-20 Visited rig on 02/20/2014 for MIT test for production casing. Pressured up to 500 psi for 15 minutes. Pressure dropped approximately 25 psi, which was within the limits of the test. Test passed. Plan forward is for rig to drill out from under production casing to TD.
-1862287366 2014-02-13 Visited location on 02/13/2014 for plug-back operations. Rig drilled ahead to 533' but was unable to straighten hole out. Decision made to plug back and set plug from 333'-533'. Cement job went well; circulation was established and maintained throughout job. Rig will shut-down for 24 hours to wait on cement.
-1864576242 2014-02-11 Visited location on 02/11/2014 to check on progress. At time of visit, rig was just starting in the hole to drill out from under conductor casing.
-197949860 2014-04-03 Visited location on 04/03/2014 to witness logging job on the Bleachtech #14 well. The hole was loaded on 04/02/2014 with pit water (note: drilling operations had been completed the previous week, so solids in pit had settled out and water was taken from top of pit). Appalachian Well Services rigged up and logged the well. Both the top and bottom centralizers on the logging tool were broken during the logging run, but it didn't cause any issues for the job. The cement bond on the 8 5/8" casing looked excellent throughout the entire length of the string.
-272996372 2014-02-12 Visited rig on 02/12/2014 to check on status of operations. At time of visit, rig was drilling 14 3/4" hole at 496'. Drilled ahead to 502' and ran deviation survey. Deviation survey showed deviation of 7 degrees. Ran survey again to double-check deviation with the same results. Ran survey a third time with a different tool to check deviation with the same results. Plan forward is to drill ahead and try to straighten hole.
-537961741 2014-02-14 Visited rig on 02/14/2014 to check-on status of drilling operations. At time of visit, rig was drilling ahead at 412' with a deviation of 2.75 degrees.
-702483525 2014-02-10 Visited location on 02/10/2014 to witness well spud. Waited on water truck to arrive. Mixed fresh water mud. Spud well with 7 7/8" PDC bit at approximately 11:15AM.
1022670895 2014-02-18 Visited location on 02/18/2014 for production casing cement job. An 11" hole was drilled to 2,427' and 8 5/8", 32# production casing was run to 2,398' with a float shoe and 10 centralizers. Waited on rig to run casing. Rigged up Petroset for cement job. Cement job went well; got 25 bbls good cement returns to surface. Pressured well up to 500 psi over landing pressure and attempted to perform MIT test on production casing, but a leak at the cement head caused pressure to be lost, so the test failed. Plan forward is to wait on cement to set up, and perform test in approximately 18 hours.
1397228584 2014-04-10 Visited location on 04/10/2014. Crew was working to harden pit for Bleachtech #14 and #13 wells with fly ash from Chem Tech. No problems were noted at the time.
