1346153852 | 2012-08-25 | I was on site to witness the cementing of the 13 3/8" surface casing. My inspection revealed that Patterson Drilling Rig # 329 has drilled their 17.5 inch hole to a depth of 670 feet. They ran 661 feet of 13 3/8 inch surface casing and installed six centralizers on the casing string (on joints 1,2,5,8,11,14). Schlumberger cemented the casing with 571 sacks of Class"A" cement (2% S001-CaCl; .125 pound per sack D130-lost circulation material; and .2% D046-antifoam). The cement had a density of 15.6 pounds per gallon and a yield of 1.20 cubic feet per sack. There was good circulation throughout the job and approximately 27 barrels of cement was circulated to surface. My inspection of the well site revealed no violations at this time. |
