1454247864 2010-03-31 Inspection this day accompanied by landowner, William Cantrell. He knew where this well was so took me to it. Well has hole in production casing, wellhead shut-in. No tanks or ID's found. Mr. Cantrell said Gatherco had a line thru his property that has now been abandoned, he took out drip for this well and other misc. fittings. He at first said he owned the well, got it from the previous landowner who had bought the well from Noramco. Then later, said he had no title to the well, nothing in writing. When informed him about Orphan Plugging program, he said he probably wasn't interested but would let me know if changed his mind. Well is very far back in on his property which is nicely groomed and would be expensive to restore. Old South Oil had expressed interest in these 3 orphan wells but believe too far back in for him. Hopewell has new well on property, landowner said they had talked about taking it but also didn't seem interested.
