441062259 2014-07-22 I was on location for a status check. I found the well not in production. The well was equipped with a plunger lift unit. The tank battery consisted of a 100 barrel production tank. There was no dike surrounding the production tank. A vertical separator was positioned within 2 feet of the wellhead. There was no identification sign; however, there was a production number stenciled on the tank. I researched our database and found Enervest has failed to file annual production. The last reported production was in 1993. I spoke with the landowner; who stated the well was supplying house gas. Also, the landowner stated that someone was performing maintenance on the well and drained the production tank once a year. The landowner did not know who the company was that took care of the well and production equipment. I called Larry, field supervisor for Enervest, concerning the well. Larry was unfamiliar with the well. I supplied Larry with the permit number and well location. Larry stated he would get with the Land Department and research the well. A follow-up inspection with Enervest concerning the well will be performed by August 1, 2014.
