Inspection Data

INSPECTION ID DATE DESCRIPTION COMMENT VIOLATION ID VIOLATION CODE VIOLATION_COMMENT
1906640 2010-08-17 No Violations Noted Site constructed, drilling had not commenced. E&S controls had been implemented as outlined in the E&S plan. No accelerated erosion & sedimentation was observed in relation to the access road or well-site. Noted that the below grade pit located onsite was holding approximately one to two feet of water. After checking the observed weather history for the area it was found that no substantial rain events had occurred in the vicinity of the well pad area. Before utilizing the below grade pit the operator should remove all of the standing water and insure that the bottom of the pit is at least 20 inches above the seasonal high groundwater table. Verified with operator representative Mike Cioffi that the drill cuttings were to be land farmed.
1907428 2010-08-20 No Violations Noted Drilling was ongoing at the time of the inspection. Met onsite with operator representative Mike Cioffi. Mr. Cioffi stated that the pit had been drained of the rainwater prior to lining. Noted no evidence that water had begun to seep in underneath the pit liner as a result of a shallow seasonal high groundwater table.
