1361389990 2013-02-20 At the time of my inspection there was no change from the original Orphan inspection in 2005.
1376057449 2013-07-31 An inspection of this orphan well revealed 8.5 outside diameter drive pipe situated 30 above ground level with minor surface rust and pitting below the top collar. The actual size was verified with a caliper. Inside this casing is 5.5 outside diameter casing with the threads broken off and a cap covering the top. This smaller diameter casing is bridged off with rocks approximately 1.5' down from top of the 8.5 casing collar. Note: 5.5 casing was approx 1 below top collar. Material was also observed in the annulus between the 8.5 and 5.5 casings. This well is situated in a beanfield approximately 50' off Twp Rd 174. The immediate well location contained a pile of rocks with no oilfield debris or overhead obstructions. There was no leakage of fluid from the wellbore however, an odor of gas was detected both physically and with my meter, which was equipped with an automatic pump, filter and a probe. Meter readings: LEL= 11; CH4= 0.55. Property ownership has now changed from Harry Hawk to David Hawk. A GPS reading from this inspection was recorded for the well.
