Inspection Data

INSPECTION ID DATE DESCRIPTION COMMENT VIOLATION ID VIOLATION CODE VIOLATION COMMENT
1373396839 2013-07-09 I inspected this well to follow up on idle well complaint #4372. Records indicate that the commercial production of this well ceased in 1994 and has not been produced since. Records also indicate that this well was plugged back in 1988 to a depth of 698' in order to produce from the Berea Sandstone. My inspection found the well equipped with 2 tubing and a gate valve. The tubing was set on hangers atop the 8.625 surface casing and was shut-in. The wellhead was fenced and inaccessible due to the dense overgrowth of trees and brush and there was no sign of anything leaking. The tank battery was fenced, diked, and overgrown with trees and brush that restricted access. There were no stock tanks present and only a vertcal separator was apparent inside the fencing. A drip bottle was located just outside the fenced area. The proper ID sign was not found at either the wellhead or the production equipment. I will forward my findings to Summit County Inspector Bob Roush and Supervisor Tom Hill for compliance enforcement.
