Inspection Data

INSPECTION ID DATE DESCRIPTION COMMENT VIOLATION ID VIOLATION CODE VIOLATION COMMENT
1050357990 2013-11-27 I am on site to witness the cementing of the conductor casing. Express Energy Services drilled 36 hole to a depth of 100'. Express then cemented 100' of 30 casing in place with 315 sks of class A cement with 2% CaCl. 18 bbl of cement returns to surface.
-1193968809 2014-07-21 PDC is currently in on Stage 10 of their completion operation. The average treating pressure has been around 6800 psi at 78-80 bbls/min. They are no longer completing both wells (2H and 3H) at the same time but will finish the 3H first before completing the 2H.
1385566018 2013-11-27 I arrived on location to witness PDC set their conductor casing, however they were having hard time getting the casing into the hole. They have pushed the cement job to the early evening.
1389962172 2014-01-17 I arrived on location to witness Halliburton cement 5786' of 9 5/8 intermediate casing with 1340 sacks of cement. PDC is using the H & P 385 Flex Rig. Upon arrival, operator was circulating the hole and Halliburton was still trying to get their equipment rigged up and running properly at the wellhead. PDC used 21 centralizers. Plug was down at 10:20am and landed at 12:15pm, however the pressure gradually backed off possibly indicating a leak in the plug or loss of cement to formation. There were spacer returns but no cement returns at the surface. The decision was made to leave the head on and wait 8 hours for the cement to set then run a temperature log, collar locator, and gyro in order to determine the condition of the cement. 1/18/2014: Temperature log showed top of cement at 410'. They ran a gyro and then skid the rig to begin drilling the 2H.
1396440683 2014-04-02 PDC skid the H & P rig to the 3H and ran cement bond log. The top of cement on the 9 5/8 was actually at 2610'. They are currently waiting on perf and cement trucks in order to perf at 2580' and set a retainer at 2270'.
1397821335 2014-04-18 Day Gray called and stated they were unable to get their build rates great enough to land so they pulled back and set a kick plug down to 6200'.
1399463346 2014-05-07 I arrived on location for the operation and safety meetings. At this time the well is producing very little gas. If it is bridged off they will know once the pull on the drill pipe by drag weight. During the operation meeting, it was discussed that PDC personnel will attempt to kill the well followed by the cutting and tripping out the drill pipe. They will then install a packer to control the well. They plan on using a radial cutting tool. Wild Well Control will be at the wellhead to determine the area of mechanical integrity failure.
1399563777 2014-05-08 I was notified en route this morning that the RCT (radial cutting torch) did not succeed in cutting the drill pipe so they set a back off charge and were able to free the drill pipe. They then POOH, installed the packer and TIH. When they were attempting to set the packer, the setting tool failed for unknown reasons, and it fell down hole and is currently on top of the drill pipe (fish). It is currently stuck somewhere around 700-760
1405542737 2014-07-16 I was on location to witness PDC and CalFrac undergo stimulation operations. For the first stage they hydraulically fractured the formation with a breakdown of 5678 psi. The average treating pressure was around 6160 psi with an average rate of 20bbls/minute.
1411672530 2014-09-25 PDC is currently producing the Palmer 2H and 3H. They were on location hooking up a new separator in order to produce out of the Palmer 44-20 vertical well.
1880710286 2014-04-24 I stopped by for a rig check. Everything looks good and the H & P flex rig was currently drilling the lateral at a depth of 8795'.
775787808 2014-01-05 I was on location to witness Allied Oilfield Services cement 378' of 20 the surface casing. PDC is using the H & P Flex rig 385. PDC used 4 centralizers. Plug was down at 9:15pm with good cement returns.
