1199673984 2014-08-19 I inspected this producing unit as part of routine inspection activity. The well was completed in 12/16/2007. The unit is producing and production reports are current. The well is located in a upscale suburban area with large lots, and densely wooded areas around the well and battery. The producing unit is accessed via a dedicated, gravel-paved access road which extends 1,100 feet southeast from Cottesworth Lane. The access road is level, and well drained with no signs of erosional deficits. Elements of the well consist of a production wellhead with standard valve assembly and mechanical plunger-lift system and aboveground storage tank (AST) battery in separate board-on-board enclosures. The valve fittings, connections, and other production appurtenances appear to be well maintained and are free from signs of leakage or other problems. The battery is comprised of 1 steel 100-barrel production tank, 1 50-barrel steel brine tank, and separator unit. Spacing from well to battery, and spacing of elements within the battery meet regulations. The load-outs are bull-plugged. There is secondary containment at the battery and the interior areas are dry. I did not observe any signs or evidence of leakage, spills, or problems. Unit identification placards are present at both the battery and wellhead, but are in poor condition and no readable. I notified the well owner about the need for new ID placards. I observed no other issues or problems requiring attention at the time of my inspection.
