| 1558244302 | 2014-10-31 | I returned to the location to assess current site conditions following a release of oil from a hole in the flow-line which occurred yesterday (10/30/2014). Free oil and oil-impacted soils were collected yesterday using a combination of vac truck, sorbent material, and excavation. Excavated soils were placed into a 20-yard roll-off container which has been covered and is now staged adjacent to the tank battery pending removal. Peatsorb material has been applied to the area as an amendment. The booms placed in the adjacent drainage way are secure. I did not observe any oil in the water. Further planned mitigation and repairs will include repair to the flow-line and restoration of the impacted area. These activities are pending. | ||||

| 853032993 | 2014-10-30 | 1 PM- I arrive at location pursuant to a call from Uniontown Office regarding a release of oil associated with the referenced unit. Upon my arrival I observe an area adjacent to the tank battery which has been impacted with oil. The impacted area is approximately 12 feet by 40 feet and is comprised mostly of a floating layer of oil on water that is ponded in tire ruts along the lease road. Mitigation and clean-up activity is being conducted by Complete Energy Service (CES). Crews are engaged in sucking up free-oil from the area with a vacuum truck. Reportedly, the pumper (Bruce Smith) noticed the leaking oil this morning. Crews have dug a 20 |
