-1336487032 | 2014-02-05 | Compliance Action Follow-up: Upon inspection of the dike, I found that Dave had cleaned up the majority of the oil. There are no signs at this time of any contamination outside of the dike. He has also place adsorbent material and adsorbent socks in various places within the dike. He was at location and stated his vac truck was snowed in, but will have it out here by the end of the week to keep sucking out any water in the dike. The weather has prevented a total cleanup at this time, but I will continue to keep in touch with Dave on the remaining issues.
-1341594925 | 2013-07-25 | Compliance action Follow-up -1835742774: Dave Bonar was at location this morning with a water truck and backhoe. They were in the process of vacuuming the oil. Once the dump truck arrives, they will begin the cleanup of the contamination outside of the dike. He will also wash the inside of the dike with water in order to vacuum out all of the oil. If he cannot get everything he will haul the oil and gravel out of the dike and replace with fresh limestone. Dave will also take out the old drain as well as the old tanks and replace with new tanks.
1375111905 | 2013-07-29 | Follow up to inspection issued by Inspector Jake Glasscock. The oil in the dike is being removed with a vacuum truck. The area below the dike has had the contaminated soils removed and is ready to be seeded and mulched.
1756692408 | 2014-12-29 | Compliance Action Follow-up: Operator has cleaned up and reconstructed the dike. There is clean gravel and a 210 bbl tank in place. The well is now in compliance.
-1835742774 | 2013-07-24 | I received a phone call from Stonebridge well tender, Rob Nutter and he stated the dike for the Phillis wells was completely full of water. Upon arrival I found the dike full of oil and water and the drain in the back left of the dike was leaking the contamination down slope into a heavily vegetated hillside. The contamination had migrated close to 100' down from the dike. There is one 100bbl oil tank, two brine tanks, and two separators in the dike. The valves were open on one separator. There was no evidence the oil had come out of the top of the tank. I finally got a hold of Randy Rainer as I was heading to his house and told him of the issues. He stated that he sold all of his wells to Dave Bonar, Poor Boy Exploration, on 6/27/2013. He gave me the new owner's number, so I called him and he sent a truck over to suck the oil and water from the dike. I explained he had to cleanup and remove all of the contamination immediately and he said he would take care of all of the issues. The wells are still listed as Dart Energy, so they are still waiting on the transfer of wells in Columbus. Operator must post proper identification, clean up all contamination, and lime, seed and mulch are in order to restore vegetative growth.
-1884293472 | 2014-06-02 | Compliance Action Follow-up: I arrived on location to find areas of the dike still contained brine water. I talked with Dave Bonar and stated that he needs to remove contamination and bring in new soil and gravel in order to avoid ongoing problems with the dike. There is no evidence of contamination outside of the dike. He stated he would take care of the issues.
-1993648125 | 2014-02-04 | Dave Bonar called me to tell me that his oil tank overflowed into the dike. He was at the location when he called with his vac truck cleaning up the mess. Once the bad weather coming in tonight passes he will be able to cleanup the residual oil. I will continue to monitor his progress.
-2039558112 | 2013-08-12 | Well is in compliance. There are no issues to report at this time.
2046674842 | 2014-04-15 | Compliance Action Follow-up: Dave has been emptying dike with trucks every time he is out there but there is still contamination in the dike. He threw down some bioremediation material. Quantab results of water in dike showed over than 600ppm of chlorides. I spoke with Dave and told him more work needs to be done to bring dike back into compliance.
2076306154 | 2011-08-11 | Inspection this day found well with jack - not hooked up - has been recently weed-eated around and looks like they are getting ready to work on. Talked to operator and he says will be going soon - they just acquired leases in last 6 months. Will give them a little time. Tanks have good dike, ID's have fallen off and laying inside dike, current chart in meter for several of the wells in this immediate area. Will continue to monitor situattion.
-473093378 | 2014-10-20 | Compliance Action Follow-up: Dave Bonar of Poorboy Exploration has a 210bbl tank and fresh gravel on location. He plans on cleaning out and restoring the dike. |
