1288734461 | 2010-11-01 | Advent Drilling moved on location today and will spud the well later this evening. The drilling pits were being dug during this inspection. This is an urban location. No violations at this time.
-1368783849 | 2011-09-27 | Preliminary restoration is approved.
1416855875 | 2014-11-24 | I received a call from Rob Frock (C&T) that they were moving in today to pull rods and tubing in preparation for plugging operations. I inspected the location today and the service rig had pulled the rods and were rigging up to pull the tubing. No violations.
1416943301 | 2014-11-25 | I was on location at 7:50am to witness plugging operations for this Clinton well. Phil's Well Service, Petroset Cementing, Appalachian Well Surveys, and DP Operating were on location to conduct operations. Rob Frock (C&T Energy) got the equipment spotted at 9:30am and Petroset rigged up to the 4.5 casing. They then mixed and pumped 7.3 barrels (30 sacks) of cement slurry with 40lbs of cottonseed hulls and bullheaded the slurry to the bottom of the hole with 64 barrels of water. The hulls plugged off the perforations at 600psi and they sat on the plug for thirty minutes. The valve on the truck was opened and there was no flow-back to the tanks. Petroset racked out and Phil's attempted to pull stretch on the casing (25,000-30,000lbs) and the derrick began to bow backwards and appeared to crack. Everyone evacuated the immediate area in case the derrick would fall over. Operations were shut down and will likely resume when they can get another service rig to location. No violations.
1418846592 | 2010-11-17 | The well was fraced earlier today. Work will continue on building the tank battery and site reclamation. No violations at this time.
-1680701980 | 2011-02-15 | The well has been turned on but the required fencing has not been installed. I called Greg New and told him to shut the well down until the fence is installed. He agreed to the shut down and will contact is fence contractor regarding how soon the job would be completed.
-1867575113 | 2014-11-26 | I was on location to witness final plugging operations of this Clinton Sandstone well. Phil's Well Service brought in their pole rig to finish the job. Appalachian Well Surveys shot the 4.5, 10.5lb/ft. casing off at a depth of 3029' and Petroset spotted cement plugs across the top of the Big Lime, at the bottom of the 8.625 surface casing, and from 200' below the top of the surface casing to surface. Good circulation was established prior to spotting the plugs. See plugging report for more details on this job. No violations.
2117916861 | 2010-12-15 | The well has been fraced and the tank battery has been set. The required security fencing around the well and the tank battery still needs to be installed before the well can be turned on.
-350575927 | 2011-06-14 | Preliminary restoration is due. The affected area needs graded, seeded and mulched. The tank battery and wellhead need locks on the gates and identification posted. These comments were relayed to Greg New who will address them as soon as possible.
884803242 | 2011-02-03 | The well has been turned on but the fence and the permanent ID have not been placed at the wellhead or the tank battery. I called Greg New and told him that the well cannot be turned on until the required fencing is installed. He said that the fence will be completed within a week.
-946936584 | 2014-12-01 | I was on location to check the status of this recently plugged and abandoned well. The circulating pit has been closed and the 8.625 surface casing has been cut off below grade and buried. The tank battery was removed prior to plugging operations. The risers from the flow and sales lines will need to be cut and capped below grade. Rob Frock (C&T Energy) said he will reclaim the site in the spring when the weather allows. No violations. |
