Set 1.5 inch tubing at 165 feet and Petroset cemented with 70 sacks of 50/50 poz cement circulated to the surface. The bottom of the 6 inch casing was estimated to be at 120to 140 feet below grade.

1764729420 2015-01-30 Contacted by the Col. Crawford School District. As part of the school improvement program, they raised the old school located in Sulphur Springs, Ohio. During demolition the contractor hit and broke the well head off of an old well reportedly drilled about 1920, and used for gas from 1923 to 1950, when the well went dry. The demolition contactor filled the borehole with broken bricks. There is a 6 inch casing. A local plumber re-fitted the well head onto the well. But, the well is leaking. A gas detector was utilized to collect gas readings for methane were 0.15 %, lower explosive limit was 11%, and Hydrogen sulfide was 21 ppm. The school system is considering hire a contractor to clean out the well and properly plug the well. The coordinates are N40.86987 W82.87814. A permit number was requested from Columbus and assigned an API number. There are not fluids leaking from this well.

-464168020 2015-02-17 On-site to flag wellbore, entrance and obtained GPS coordinates. Moderate H2S odor noted at State Route 98 due to wind direction. The superintendent of Colonel Crawford Schools is in the process of receiving estimates to plugged the well as soon as possible. Plugging permit requirements have been waived by the Division.
