Inspection Data

INSPECTION ID DATE DESCRIPTION COMMENT VIOLATION ID VIOLATION CODE VIOLATION COMMENT
1338977977 2012-05-10 The Division received a call from the landowner alleging idle wells on property. The landowner does not want to file a complaint at this time. A follow-up inspection of this well was conducted with Mr. Kip Thompson and the well owner, Mr. John Seifert. During the inspection, it was noted that the well was equipped with production equipment, but showed no recent signs of pumping (ie polish rod) or casing gas being produced at this time. At time of inspection, the well did not contain a production line for casing gas. The shared tank battery with Permit No. 357 consisted of (1) 100 bbl and a disconnected separator. Pollution and contamination (P&C) was observed below the tank and outside the dike. The area measured approximately 30' x 5' and consisted of stressed vegetation and weathered crude oil. Mr. Seifert confirmed that he knew of P&C and verbally agreed to remove P&C, and plug or produce well by 8/1/2012. If placed back into production, identification would also be required for the well and tank (common tank battery). A review of RBDMS inspection reports showed violations cited for non-production in 2006 and 2004. Statements of production currently show 2010 and 2011 gas production.
