Well is located on the East side of Old Woman Creek and will require a creek crossing. The Operator is recommended to install a temporary culvert pipe for the creek crossing instead of stone crossing. This will reduce the sediment disturbed in the stream. For Further information Please contact Cary Brickner at the Huron Co. Soil & Water District at 419-668-4113. The Old Woman Creek has been incorporated in the Firelands Land Conservancy Watershed group.
1180965954 2007-06-04 The Owner/ Operator is recommended to install a 48 diameter at 20 feet long smooth wall culvert pipe to for the Old Woman Creek crossing. This is based on a drainage area upstream of 850 acres. The Restoration plan submitted by the Operator does not indicate that Surface drainage facilities on land will be disturbed. Further details regarding installation of culvert pipe construction can be ascertained from Cary Brickner, of the Huron Co. Soil and Water Conservation District at 419-668-4113 extension #3.
