1192281668 2012-09-20 I conducted a production well inspection status check. My inspection found the well was a pumping unit that was incapable of production with the rods and tubing removed, the well head was open, and flow lines disconnected. The tank battery contained two, 100 barrel oil storage tanks, one, 50 barrel brine storage tank, a separator, and an identification sign with unreadable information. I noticed an oil spill between the brine tank and the oil storage tanks. I took photos of the oil spill and pumping unit. I sent Jaime Campbell of Big Skiy an email listing all the violations pertaining to this well and the timeline for compliance. I will perform a follow-up inspection on 10/15/2012.
1418733179 2014-12-15 I was on location for a status check. During my inspection, I found the well not in production. A pumpjack had been removed. The well was capped with a threaded flange and plug on the tubing. The flow line from the well was disconnected. The tank battery consisted of two, 100 barrel production tanks, a 50 barrel brine tank and a separator. The dike was weathered. The well information on the identification sign was completely faded. Plugs were installed in the load line. There was no production chart installed on the production equipment. The lease road was in stable condition. I researched the RBDMS database and found Big Sky had failed to file annual production for 2013. I called Bobby Barr, Jr. and left a message to return my phone call. Photos were taken of the well site and available upon request.
