| 1145287627 | 2006-04-17 | Operator on site to complete plugging of well. Well plugging began on 4/11/06. Operator pumped 125 sacks of cement into well on that day but did not get cement to the surface. Total depth of well was approximately 1150 feet. Inspector Tom Benko was on site that day. Operator returned today and found cement had set at 242 feet. An additional 53 bags of cement were pumped into the well. The well was full of fresh water as noted by discharge into tank during cement pumping. Cement was noted in the return water as cement in truck had run out. After pipe was pulled from the well, cement was noted approximately 6 feet below ground in well casing. Operator will return tomorrow to top off well. Inspector Benko will complete the plug report for the well. | ||||
