1680885585 | 2006-10-31 | On site to check the status of the site. Operator contacted me regarding his failure to meet permit conditions. Permit #1815 had requirements that the Inspector be contacted 24 hours before site constructions as well as pit construction requirements. I was not contacted before site construction. At the time that I was contacted pits were constructed and drilling was active. Special permit conditions attached to permit were regarding thin glacial till overlying fractured bedrock. The material excavated for the pit construction was clay with siltstone. In the future, the operator needs to follow permit conditions in regards to contacting inspector. Operator needs to confirm that a valid and complete permit is on site before drilling is started. | ||||
