Upon arrival the company man stated that they would not be ready to start running casing until after 12:00Pm; Upon re arrival at 1:00pm the drilling rig was starting to run the 392' of 18.625. The surface pipe was hanging up inside the conductor and at 7:00 pm the company decided to pull the surface and ream the conductor. I then left location and informed the company man to call me when the pipe was on bottom and the cementers were hooking up. | ||||

The company man commented that a majority of the spill was inside their lined working containment area and was immediately cleaned up with 100% recovery. I advised them I was on a cement job and seeing how they had contained and recovered the material I would be over to look at the site within 2.5 hours. Met with Greg Male @ 11:30AM and observed the area outside the containment area had been cleaned up by drawing the material up with a vacuum truck, We discussed recovering the sheen with spill rags and cleaning the equipment affected by hand as not to cause the product to migrate under the rig mats. | ||||
