The pit was filled and there were dozers on location smoothing out the road and well location. The wellhead is shut in until they install production lines. | ||||

| 1365175220 | 2013-04-05 | I was on location to witness the cementing of the 9 5/8 surface casing. The Killbarger IDECO Rig #17 drilled a 12 1/4 hole to a TD of 719'. The casing shoe depth was 687'. Centralizers were not run on the surface casing and the baffle insert was at a depth of 644'. The operator encountered hard sandstone with fresh water at 601-632 which slowed drilling earlier. Formation cement on location. The plug was down at 10:55am with good cement returns, and casing pressure was held at 600 psi for 5 minutes. | ||||
