721354583 2015-02-27 I inspected this well as part of routine inspection activity. The wellhead and battery are located within the confines of a former farmstead property on the west side of Chagrin River Road. The wellhead concoil and battery are in separate field -constructed enclosures which are not locked. Fittings and connections are secure and free from signs of leakage or problems. The load-outs are secure, plugged, and locked. Process safety gear is present. Signage is in place and current. At the time of this inspection there are 15 to 20 inches of snow cover in the area which obscures some surficial elements from observation.
902746021 2013-07-08 The producing unit consists of a an above-ground storage tank (AST) battery with 1 140-barrel steel production tank, and 1 50-barrel steel brine tank, a mechanical separator, and metering run. Identification is present. There is an earthen secondary containment which is in good condition. The load-outs are bull-plugged and locked. HB 278 safety equipment is not present. The wellhead is located 50 feet north of the battery. The wellhead consists of a mechanical concoil system and associated valve-tree. The annulus is plumbed into the production line. The wellhead and battery are in separate field-constructed wire enclosures. The lease road is primarily shared with the residential driveway. A small dedicated portion is paved with mixed, coarse limestone aggregate. I did not observe any problems or violations. Preliminary restoration passes. I will contact Summit about need for safety equipment.
