| 1374687090 | 2013-07-24 | Inspected the Goodman Phyllis #1-8 (#65) Trenton well as a request by land owner Mr. Larry Meienburg. Unable to get to the wellhead due to it being overgrown by crops and there is no access road. Appears to be no change in status from Inspector Harpster's inspection dated 1/30/2013. This is one of a group of Trenton wells which sits idle are non-compliant (per Inspector Harpster) by OGE Energy which does not have an active Insurance Certificate with the State-of-Ohio. All the wells are located in Richland Township, are unidentified and idle with no production reported with the State-of-Ohio since 2005: the year ownership was transferred to OGE Energy. Note: This is a H2S township with high concentrations (>200 ppm) known in the Trenton as well as a shallow source within the Big Lime. Inspector Blauser reported that high concentrations of H2S were encountered at 325' and a drill hand passed out on the floor, as per inspection dated 4/12/1976. Inspector Harpster also noted possible H2S leakage during his inspections of the OGE wells. Met with landowner Mr. Larry Meienburg who expressed his displeasure with the idle well on his farm land and he would like to see it plugged and his land restored. Entered his information into the complaint database. Status: non-compliant. | ||||
