Filter fence was installed down gradient and functioning. Noted two pits onsite both sustained two ft of line freeboard on all sides: drill dust and minor cuttings noted outside of pit on cut slope. Spoke with Kriebel rep onsite and recommended that a diffuser be used in order to minimize/prevent splatter of dust and cuttings, which rep assured me would be addressed immediately. Access road stable, brush/grub line utilized. Culverts present, but additional rock may need to be added to outlets. No accelerated erosion or sedimentation issues were noted, but it is being recommended that ditch be installed below gradient of pad perpendicular to fresh water pit instead of haybales and filter fence in order to minimize the potential for runoff concerns during rain events. | |||
