Permit, E&S Plan and Waste and Disposal plan on site as well as seasonal high groundwater table data. Site ID sign present. Fill slope of site has a stone-lined ditch, filter fence and brush pile along its length. Topsoil pile is placed near the pit. Dept. recommends temporarily stablizing topsoil pile. Well staked but not yet drilled. One below-grade, unlined pit on site. Access road is in stable condition and is covered with durable rock. Dept. notes that access road and site are snow covered. No accelerated E&S problems observed at time of inspection. Operator should continue to monitor all BMP's until final permanent restoration is achieved.
2250411 2014-03-04 No Violations Noted At time of inspection, First Class Energy actively drilling. According to consultant Bill Hoover and a rep from First Class Energy, drilling is expected to be complete today (03/04/14). Operator plans to move equipment to nearby Kibler 1 permit to begin drilling. Pit is lined and surrounded by security fence. Pit contains a minimal amount of fluids and cuttings. Operator plans to encapsulate pit when drilling is finished. Dept. recommends temporarily stabilizing topsoil pile to minimize erosion. Access road is in stable condition. No E&S issues observed during inspection. Dept. recommends operator maintain BMP's until permanent stabilization is achieved.
2252863 2014-03-10 No Violations Noted At time of inspection, drilling appears to be complete although well not yet equipped for production. Pit has been encapsulated and covered with topsoil pile. Most of topsoil pile has been spread although some remains stockpiled. Excavator on site. BPM's appear to be functioning as needed. Access road is in stable condition. Dept. recommends operator continue to monitor BMP's until permanent restoration is achieved.
