Chesapeake is leasing property, they put a cap with a lock on the well over the winter (2010-2011). Cap is on 2 1/2" pipe. Previous to cap, owner says he occasionally noticed some gas. Well is in field behind pheasant pens. |

Cap w/ Chk lock is on well, so on site with John Prevost, Chesapeake pumper, to remove and vent. 500 psi on well initally. Took about 2 hours to blow down well. Removed cap and valve and put 2" X 6' vent. |
