Andrew Hobbins, Water Quality Specialist, represented the Department. Nobody was present for SWN.
The site sign, E & S plan and weekly inspection logs were on site and available for review. The slopes of the pad were well vegetated and no erosion issues were observed. A chainlink fence was observed around the perimeter of the pad. The slopes of the pad and surrounding area is utilized as a pasture by the landowner. An infiltration berm was observed to be recently installed north and west of the well pad. The berm was observed to be installed as per the approved ESCGP. The berm was temporarily stabilized with mulch. Compost filter sock was installed down gradient of the infiltration berm. Seven wells were in production and one well was approved for inactive status.
