ALCO contractor is rigged up on the pad for plugging ops. They tagged bottom (5007’) broke circulation, pumped gel, and balanced plugs in the openhole with addition to one more 100’ cmt plug across suspected gas zone @ 3015’. They WOC and tagged cement almost exactly on calculated at 592’ (8’ higher than calculated after setting 6 cmt plugs in ~ 4400’ of open hole.) They’ll pump a final 100’ plug from there ~50’ into surface casing to complete the job. No Issues.
2587021 Primary Facility 2017-04-24 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Inspection of Water Terrier’s Headwaters plugged P1 well conducted 4/24/17 at 1:15pm. ALCO has rigged down after plugging ops. The well has a 7” x 2” candy cane vent ~72” high. No flow was observed. To verify I threaded a 2 x ¼” reducer with a ¼” pipe nipple with balloon attached and monitored for ~10 minutes. The balloon did not inflate, indicating no measurable flow at this time. No issues.
