2806198 Primary Facility 2018-11-20 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On November 20, 2018, Department representative Brad Kline conducted a routine site inspection at ARD Operating , LLC. COP Tract 653 Pad C. Temporary E&S controls, PCSMs and site restoration could not be evaluated due to snow cover. ESG29-035-16-0001 covers both Pad B and Pad C in the permit.

There are a total of 3 producing wells located on this well pad. All wells are tagged with API/well permit numbers. No bubbling within the cellars was observed. There are 3 GPU’s and 3 steel vertical production fluids tanks onsite. Both GPUs and production fluid tanks were stationed in secondary containment. The steel production fluid tanks had some minor corrosion occurring (Photo 3).

No violations noted.

2833838 Primary Facility 2019-01-30 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted I arrived on-site in response to a deficient tank notification from ARD submitted on 1/29/19. Production tank #2 was found to have 2 holes that were leaking produced water into the tank containment. ARD estimated 1-2 barrels were released to containment, with no release to the pad surface. I noted that tank #2 was considerably more pitted with rust than tank #1, and tank #3 had no visible rust on it. Extremely low temperatures (approximately 8 degrees Fahrenheit) and blowing snow made it difficult to assess the site or the containment, but it appeared that the produced water in containment had been removed and no impact was apparent outside of containment. The tank has been isolated with valves, the fluid level lowered, and the tank is scheduled to be removed from the site.
