Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
0554833030 2004-02-27 Production Wells No Violations Inspection this day found no violations, altho the area around the wellhead indicated that a valve had been opened earlier in the day to blow off oil and water. Landowner pumping this well located on his land and gas used only for landowners - no longer going in pipeline. Tank are a little overgrown, tank had been run over sometime in past (complainant said 2 + years ago last time), good dike, good IDs. Well is unhill from the tank area and tank area uphill from complainants land and small run 50-100 below the tank. Saying this, there was a very small amount of erosion from the well downhill, but feel this caused by normal run-off, not saltwater dumping and there were no paths cut from the well, just from the surrounding ground. Being winter, there was very little growing grass, but there were a few bare spots - caused more by natural erosion than by saltwater spillage. I did you to landowner and inform him that there was a complaint and that draining of saltwater/oil on ground was not allowed - that he should be more careful in the future. Landowner also told me this had been going on for years and that all the neighbors were also dumping septic tank sewage on his land. All in all, feel complaint was unsubstantiated and told complainant what would be a violation and what to look for. And to call again if things got worse.
0845415624 2008-11-07 Final Restoration No Violations Inspection this day found ground has been reclaimed, plugger met with landowners to find out how they wanted it completed, seeded and mulched.
1862640662 2008-10-22 Production Wells No Violations Call from landowner - asking if they will still have free gas after the well is plugged. NO! Are 3 houses on it now - operator plugging as needs equipment for another well, I am told. Landowner still complaining about saltwater kill area and oil running downhill below tanks. Is small amount of oil around downside of tanks, kill area has all grown over from last year - must not be pumping well. Good IDs, needs more dike, jakc is capable.
