McS Inc. of Homer, MI and DownHole Tool Inc (DTI) of Traverse City, MI were doing the plugging under the coordination of Matt Fagerstrom (DTI) and Savoy Energy. A cement retainer was set at 2600 and 50 sacks of Class A cement was set below the retainer and 60 sacks of Class A cement was set above the retainer. The tubing was pulled out and the stinger removed. Michigan Wire Line then shot the uncemented 5.5 casing at 905 and the remaining casing was removed. The tubing was the ran to 1356 and 60 sacks of Class A were set across the Bottom of the Surface Casing. The tubing was pulled to 100 and the Surface Plug was set with 30 sacks of Class A. Cement returns were witnessed at the surface. All cementing was done by Central Michigan Cementing Services through 2 7/8 tubing with good circulation. See Plug Report for details. |
