1409837344 2014-09-04 Plug / Plug Back No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed that Whipstock Drilling Rig #20 had drilled thru the first two original plugs and hit gas at 1705 feet and tagged up at 2350 feet. Whipstock ran 2.375 inch upset tubing to a depth of 2336 feet. Petroset was on location and broke circulation and set a 100 sack 400 foot Class A rip plug from 2336 to 1936 feet. Whipstock pulled 19 joints of tubing and Petroset broke circulation and set a 100 sack 400 foot Class A bottom of the surface casing plug from 1736 to 1336 feet. Whipstock pulled 42 joints of tubing and Petroset broke circulation and set a 140 sack Class A surface plug from 413 to surface. Whipstock pulled 13 joints of tubing and cement remained at surface.
1719863328 2014-08-28 Final Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I was notified by Bruce Carpenter of Eclipse that during excavation for the Abe Troyer North Well Pad the casing of a plugged well was struck by a dozer and a corner of the welded cap had been torn and gas was leaking on the well. The well was identified as 34059233790000 C. Keefer 1. Upon arrival I met with Eclipse representatives Mike Hartshorn and Ken Durst along with Whipstock representatives Josh Rennicker and Steve Atwood and discussed what happened. Inspection of the well revealed that the well identity plate had a 2.5 inch by 1 inch tear with no gas venting at the time of inspection. A steel tape measure revealed that top of cement was at 55 inches from surface. Pictures were taken along with new hand held GPS readings.
