2450508 Primary Facility 2016-02-16 Administrative/File Review In Compliance with Policy An accidental release of approximately 6.7 barrels of brine occurred on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the GH53HS Well Pad located in Richhill Township, Greene County. The release occurred around 11:20 a.m. and resulted from a stressed hose connection that failed thereby releasing brine from a manifold and onto containment. The spill was completely contained and no environmental impacts had occurred. All released material was then cleaned from containment with a vacuum truck. This incident is considered to be In Compliance with Policy (ICP), given that the operator completely contained the release and properly reported the incident in accordance with the current spill policy guidance. No violations are being cited at this time.
