2764594 | Primary Facility | 2018-08-15 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | I arrived onsite with Brock Zeisloft to examine the area of the encapsulated cuttings pit shown on the newly received ESCGP submission for construction of a new well pad. The location shown on the submission was well vegetated and showed no signs of a failed or leaking pit. The entire area surrounding the well pad was also well vegetated, and soil conductivity in all areas was less than .30 mS/cm. The production tank containment for the single tank on the site was filled to within 6-12" of the top of the wall with accumulated rainwater, and the wall of the containment was not level, varying by as much as 12" in different locations. I recommend that Rockdale remove all water from the containment and level up the wall. A 275 gallon chemical tote marked "Non-hazardous waste was present on the site in its own containment, and had 1-2" of fluid in the bottom. This containment was also in danger of overtopping. I recommend that Rockdale vac this containment and remove the tote from the site, as it is likel |
