1344374835 2012-08-07 Production Wells No Violations I received a phone call today from Mr. Joe Cross with Bi Joe Development at 10:12 A.M. informing me of a 210 barrel tank that had been hit by lightning and was blown out of the dike over the weekend. Landowner Tammy Wells notified the pumper on Monday who then alerted Joe Cross that the tank was missing from the dike. The tank battery is in the middle of a corn field and the tank was located by airplane approximately 200 feet northwest of the tank battery. I notified Will Ziegler by email of the phone call and I arrived at the tank battery at 1:15 P.M. Will Ziegler arrived shortly after at approximately 1:30 P.M. We met with the pumper and Joe Cross at the tank battery. They informed Will and I that a tank of oil had been sold two weeks ago and that the tank was not completely full at the time of the lightning strike. After inspecting the area around the tank battery we found that the soil and vegetation had been saturated with brine water from the tank. We determined that it did not cause any pollution or contamination. Joe Cross informed us that he would till up any soil saturated from the brine and spread lime over the soil to establish vegetation. We informed landowner Tammy Wells of how Mr. Cross will clean up the affected area and that he will begin this week. It was recommended to Ms. Wells that we allow Mr. Cross to wait to retrieve the tank until the farmer harvest the corn as to prevent any further damage to the crops.
1404761762 2014-06-18 Preliminary Restoration No Violations Well is capable of production and is equipt with a motor and pump jack. All drilling equiptment has been removed from site and vegetation surrounding well has been restored. The tank battery consists of one 100 barrel tank, one 200 barrel tank, and a seperator within an earthen dike. Identification can be found at the tank battery. Preliminary restoration passes.
