ODNR Engineer Tech Andy Thomas was advised of the defect and will with the company on a resolution. The well bore drilling is complete and the drilling rig has moved off location.
1012871190 2016-12-21 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed Orion Drilling Polaris Rig # 14 was drilling a 12.25 inch diameter hole at a depth of 8677 feet with a planned total depth of 9752 feet on 8.6 pound per gallon 5% KCL brine making 2 feet per hour. I met with Statoil Consultant Keith Johnson who stated Orion Drilling Polaris Rig #14 lost their air package last night and went to fluid with plans to go back on air once Weatherford makes need repairs. I reviewed upcoming cement proposal from Halliburton Services for the 9.625 inch diameter casing.
1475344785 2016-10-01 Casing String Witnessed No Violations 10/01/2016 -On site inspection to witness the conductor casing cement job with Express Energys top hole rig on location. The rig has drilled a 36 bore hole to 100 with fresh water encountered at ground level. Express Energys cement service cemented the casing using 275 sacks of class A-2% calcium 1/2 lb-sk lcm, cement was displaced with 71 bbl of fresh water and 15 barrels of cement returns witnessed to surface.
1478520587 2016-11-03 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On site inspection for a 5:30 am call out to witness the 20 surface casing cement job. Upon arrival it was observed that Well Service Group rig # 1 is on location and has drilled a 26 surface borehole to 625 and is attempting to make up the last casing joint to be inserted into the well bore with the casing threads being damaged. The company delayed the job until a later time due to having to order a new casing landing joint. The job did not go until 9:00 pm on this day and was not witnessed due to time restraint issues.
