2833740 | Primary Facility | 2019-01-30 | Incident- Response to Accident or Event | In Compliance with Policy | Inspection in response to a spill reported by the Operator on 1/30/2019 at 11:10am. The Operator reported a release of approximately 3 barrels of mixed fresh water and reuse water to secondary containment of which approximately 1 barrel of fluid was lost to the well pad surface. The Operator indicated that a mechanical pop-off valve released resulting in the release. The impacted area is located on the northwest side of the well pad near the access road entrance into the well pad. The Operator plans to install a sump located between the secondary containment and the sand boxes to collect any residual fluid. The Operator was placing the impacted material in the roll-off box for disposal. The Operator indicated that the impacted area would be remediated in accordance with the Act 2. Currently the Operator is in compliance with the Departments spill policy. |
