Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Category Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
1819666 Primary Facility 2009-08-12 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Site construction was finishing at the time of the inspection. Found that the erosion control BMP's (i.e. filter fabric fence and culvert outlets) had been compromised by the storm which passed through the previous night. To repair the low point along the filter fence compromised by the runoff WQS Higgins suggested that hay bales be implemented along with soil to restablish the fence. In addition WQS Higgins requested that an erosion control BMP be implemented minimally at the culvert outlets. WQS Higgins spoke with both Bill Wilson onsite and Dave Bittinger via phone concerning these issues.
1821524 Primary Facility 2009-08-19 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Site constructed, drilling was not on going at the time of the inspection. The compromised erosion control measures observed during the previous inspection had been repaired as outlined during the previous inspection and phone conversation with the operator. The filter fabric fence had been restablished and reinforeced with hay bales where neccesary. The culvert outlets had temporary BMP's implemented to minimize sedimentation during well development. The erosion control measures as implemented should effectively minimize accelerated erosion & sedimentation provided the controls are properly maintained.
1832128 Primary Facility 2009-10-01 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Site constructed, drilling was not on going at the time of the inspection. Observed cattle fenced in the same area as the well-site. Filter fabric fence and hay bale erosion controls had been compromised by the cattle, however there was no observed evidence of accelerated erosion & sedimenation or offsite transport of sediment. This was most likely due to the vegetation covering the pasture field below the well-site. The operator should continue to monitor the site and access road for accelerated erosion & sedimentation until final restoration activities are completed.
1894064 Primary Facility 2010-06-24 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Drilling completed well appeared to be equipped for production at the time of the inspection. Brine tank located onsite and appeared to be in sound condition. Noted that the well was located in a cow pasture. Site had been regraded, seeded & mulched and the vegetation had begun to take hold. Area that had been disturbed for pipeline purposes had been regraded and vegetation had begun to take hold there as well. No accelerated erosion & sedimenation was observed in relation to the site or access road. Operator should continue to monitor the site to insure that the vegetation achieves 70% uniform coverage.
