Below grade pit located onsite and it had momre than the two feet of required lined freeboard. Noted that in the E&S Plan located onsite the disposal method for the drill cuttings was not included. This information should be included in future well-site E&S Plans. Observed no accelerated erosion & sedimentation in relation to the access road or well-site. The erosion control measures had been installed properly and should effectively minimize accelerated erosion & sedimentation.
1823384 2009-08-19 No Violations Noted drilling complete - not equipped/ID&pit ok/E&S ok
1833045 2009-10-05 No Violations Noted Drilling was completed at the time of the inspection. Well did not appear to be equipped for production. Below grade pit still located onsite, and it had more than the required two feet of lined freeboard. The Department recommends that the operator close the pit, dispose of the fluids contained therein and the drill cuttings according to the regulations. In addition the operator should also implement erosion control BMP's to temporarily stabilize the site through the winter months, or regrade the site and seed & mulch the site with perrenial vegetation and a winter cover crop.
1897372 2010-07-12 No Violations Noted Drilling was completed on 08/14/09. Well appeared to be equipped for & in production. Brine tank located onsite. Noted that the brine tank appeared to be older and it had a large amount of rust on it. No accelerated erosion & sedimentation in relation to the access road or well-site. No well tag was observed located on any of the well apparatus associated with the well. At this time the Department is requesting that the operator forward documentation or contact WQS Higgins no later than 08/03/10 that the well has been properly tagged with the appropriate permit number and well name.
