-1081881238 2013-12-16 I am on site today to witness the running and the cementing of the 18-5/8" casing string. Today I could only watch them install three joints and then they dropped it down the well. The cement job was then cancelled for the day. Casing fell to 520 ft and now will need to be fished out of the well or the well will need plugged if it can not be retrieved.
-1603466113 2014-02-11 I was advised that the well would begin cementing casing this morning. When I arrived I discovered that there was a problem with the Cementers and the arrival time. The job now could be several hours from beginning.
-2138971263 2014-05-07 On the day of my inspection I received a call from Harrison County ODNR Inspector Mark Moreland whom received a call from Hess about Chlorides reading 1500ppm on the north side of the pad. Upon arrival I did a walk around with Company Man Bill Calabreeze and observed the area which has been dammed and when asked he stated that no brine has been on site for 8 weeks and the cellars are pumped regularly. He then stated that 8 tons of ice melt had been released during the winter on the pad for ice control. I then met with Jeff Wood, Waste Management Coordinator from Hess and Denny Furmanek, Project Specialist from Envirotrac Environmental Services took samples from the ditch, under the containment on the north side and from the cellar of the Athens B 4H-5. I then tested the samples with Quantabs and readings on the ditch were at 1864ppm, containment was 2800 ppm and the cellar was greater than 6428ppm. We discussed their plan of digging and lining a sump and then pumping the water from the sump to frac tanks also discussed was the containment of the cellars and mouse holes.
