1548264240 2014-06-30 On the day of my inspection accompanied by ODNR Inspector Mike Hartshorn, following a request to verify Eclipse Resources was properly pulling water from a permitted source, I witnessed that there was a pumping station at the coordinates of 39.969217/-81.316833 which was insulated to provide a sound barrier to neighboring homes and was pulling water from the Leatherwood Creek which is part of the Ohio River watershed and permitted to withdrawal an estimated 30,000 gal/day and an estimated total withdrawal of 7,000,000 gallons. A second inline pump was located at the coordinates of 39.976438/-81.319556 and a third inline pump located at the coordinates of 39.992704/-81.315662. All pumps were in containment and monitoring of intake was present and no leaks were noted. The line lead to an impoundment located at 39.989540/-81.316641 where I met with GRE General Manager Jeff Terrell and discussed why we were present and noted that outtake was being monitored as well.
