1405360595 | 2014-07-14 | On the day of my inspection I found that Gene Matheny had ripped the 4.5" casing off at 2575' and washed another 3 tons of clay down for a total of 5 tons on the bottom. They pulled the casing and then set a pre-cast cement plug on the 6" casing seat at 972'. Matheny washed 5 tons of clay down the well then attempted to pull the 8.625" casing. The casing was rotted and pulled apart at 100'. They recovered what casing they could and washed another 8 tons down the well filling it to surface. They clay was allowed to settle for a couple hours and then they topped it off with another 2 tons filling it to surface again. The clay was sitting firm at the surface when they started prepping the casing to be capped with the steel plate. | ||||
