As a result, the plastic line ruptured due to pressure. Chieftain Energy had previously stated that this tank was not being utilized. The company was observed on-site performing cleanup. They were instructed to remove oily soil and evaluate 100bbl tank that may contain a small leak underneath and rebuild dike. (1) 100bbl tank was found to be only 40ft from the road. The company states that they will not be utilizing this tank. In addition, the area is limited due a right of way located behind the tank battery. | ||||
